Not to mention telling me what I *mean*, which he got wrong.

She said to her son, "we will do whatever we want to do." Yes, she can and did do as she wanted to do including show blatant disrespect for the country she lives in. If that is the type of person on the other side, I know I'm on the right side.

That reminds me of a town hall I attended during the shoving down our throats of Obamacare. I made it a point to observe the people there, who applauded what and so on. Some veterans got up and spoke. The conservatives/Tea Party folks gave them a warm reception with applause. The leftists sat silent, even for a very old gentleman who was a WW2 veteran. That spoke volumes to me about the left.

But your above statement betrays you and actually speeks the truth about what it really is.

Right now, there *are* two sides. One who wants smaller government and less spending (fiscal responsibility) and one who believes in bigger government, more spending and evidently little or no real commitment to fiscal responsibility. I wish it weren't so, but that's how it is boonie, whether you like it or not.

You say;
The left was ready to take over. They got their man elected. Everything was set to change America.
But then the left realized that their plan would mean more intrusive Government.
Now they want out.

Uh, no, that's not what I said or meant. The forces on the left, mostly in power in the Democratic party or their supporters, are pushing a particular agenda. Moderate Democrats, non-aligned moderates and independents VOTERS are saying "whoa! stop! no thanks!" and are ready to vote the big government contingent out.

But what you mean is;

Please don't presume to tell me what I *mean*.
