I have Poison Ivy inside my ear and saying it sucks is a understatement. So can I just dump the stuff in my ear? Or would putting it on a q-tip be the way to go? Ive never gotten the stuff before and I am used to poison oak. It's a whole different ball game really.

I would't 'dump it', but using a q-tip or eye-dropper should be ok. Less is better. I would try NOT to get it too deep in there...

Just don't overdue it. Might want to use something else instead, something that would deal w/ the oil. Or numb the area.

Did you have it on your finger?

Be careful of your mouse, kbd, and when you go to the bathroom!

Too bad you didn't just get it right on your brain. Then all you have to do is think about sandpaper to itch it.

Calamine lotion never seemed to do anything for my poison oak rashes. Try this stuff;
http://www.zanfel.com/help/

It's expensive relative to Calamine, but it does a wiz bang job at dissolving and removing the poison oils that cause the rash. Look for a store brand that has the same active ingredients, it is just as effective and costs about half as much. Still, even at full price, the quick relief from the rash is worth the money.

In the ear, that sucks.

I looked at Zanfel and just about **** a brick when I saw the price tag for a 1oz tube. 24.99 was the cheapest I found it for. I have read good reviews on it and it seems to work wonders, however I simply cant afford it. No biggie, if I have to deal with it than so be it but it looks like I may have interviews coming up and last thing I want is some nasty blister on my face/ear.

Like I said, look for the store brand. The 1 oz is enough for at least one breakout, I still have some from my last episode.

Yes but, to be effective, the lotion must first be applied to your elbow and then transferred directly to your ear. It's not eaay but attempting this will make you forget about your itchy ears.

What ever you do don’t touch your ear and take a leak. You won’t like what happens next.

Oh for heaven's sakes... just use a bit of bleach on a Q-tip. It will help dry up the poison ivy/oak and will keep it from spreading... If that makes you squeamish, mix it with a little water... it really doesn't burn... and is a great deterrent to keep you from getting poison ivy/oak, just wash/rinse your hands/arms/etc. in bleach water after being outside or around questionable greenery.

Or if you want to go all natural, go get you a milk weed pod and use the milky white substance inside of the pod on your poison ivy/oak... you will probably find it growing very close to said poison ivy/oak!!
