I have tendered for 3 big contracts, and it looks on the cards that I have at least two of them!!!!!
Decorative security grills and doors for 2 apartments.
Electric sliding gate.
Building 6 dog kennels and an enclosure.
3 months work between them all....but...if I get the one for the security grills for the apartments, I stand a chance of getting to do the whole block of TWELVE!!!!! I could have 8 months of work paying a nett profit to me of around $3500 a month!!!
I have done all the design work, and have to go to see the owner of the 2 apartment blocks today. Just that job alone is worth around $3,500 nett, and shloud take about 3 weeks to complete. I can hardly BREATHE with excitement
Wish I could post pics of the designwork, but PIP doesn't work with tethered internet I might try to upload them to photobucket and do it that way.

No known competition AFAIK...this work has all come as a result of other work I have done. I can safely say nobody does what I do in this area...so...I have factored in a margin for being 'bargained-down' with the prices, instead of doing what I usually do, which is give a 'bottom price ' figure, and either get accepted or rejected. It seems to give people a feeling of 'power' if they can negotiate prices downwards...so I have anticipated that

That's great, Nick! I've been doing sketches for gates and fencing at my place, will weld everything together probably next spring as I can afford materials and get permits. I'll probably try to hit you up for advice along the way.
