Theoretically...if I wanted to port a number to my cell that wasn't in my name could it be done? Is this illegal? (surely it is?) Opinions are welcome...links are better.
I'm guessing you'd have to have the owner of the number on the land line to release it to you and then you should be ok. I'm sure your cel provider can tell you how or if you can.
We have the house phone frowarded to a cell if there is no answer and I never had to approve anything with respect to that switch. All I had to do was input a number in an online field and it was done.
