I've had this Blackberry Bold 7200 knock-ff since August. It has loads of 'Apps.' to connect to, but none work except MSN Messenger.
It has wifi, but I can't get the router to recognise it. It 'connects' to the router, but apparently there is no interaction between them, and eventually the phone says 'unknown host'.
I think the MSN Messenger connects through Wap, or is it GPRS?, yet nothing else works. When I try to connect to the router, it asks for the WEP key, and I put it in, and then the screen stays clear until the reply 'unknown host' appears. Is it the phone that is the host, or is it the router rejecing the WEP key...or is it something totally different? I know Nurb had one of these and junked it, but it is a nice phone. Oh...and I can also get my Outlook Express email inbox , and send emails.
I ran IPconfig/all on my laptop to find out if there is something different in the setup of the phone, but no joy. The peculiar thing is, my old China A Padthat I had used to connect easily through the router automatically, like everything else I've ever tried. makes no sense to me

If I could get it to connect to the wifi, I could then sell it and get some money back

Thanks for putting up with a second round of pleas for assistance. I don't like giving up!!
