My Sunfire was in need of new wiper blades. I saw these while at BJ's & thought that I'd try them. Bad decision on my part!
The drivers side is a 22" but only about 18" of the blade contacts the windshield. There is 2" at each end that never touches! The passenger side is a 16" blade. That one makes contact as it should but chatters!
I put the old metal frame wipers back on for an improvement. I wrote PEAK but I doubt I'll get any type of reply.
Live & learn....

I had the same issue with the "Rain-X Latitudes", which were basicly the same design. JUNK.

so far, my fav wipers are the Bosch wipers & the super cheap Anco's

Wow, I have them on my fiero and recently put similar ones on my fiances corolla. Both were a huge improvement over what was there and both of us love them. My fiero has had them for over a year with nary a streak. Ours are not necissarily PEAK brand but similar design

Sorry you had problems. I think the design is much better than the old metal framed ones, more even distribution. And they look great.

I think I have those same wipers on the Mazda, and yes, I lost about an inch or so on either side by using them.

Mine are almost silent though.*

I also tried the Rain-X Latitudes, thinking I'll pop the extra coin for the premium product.
Absolute crap.

The cheapo Anco blades I have on my Fiero now are far superior.

I personally don't like Rain X or Bosch but, that's my opinion. I am currently using Trico Flex on my Fiero and I like the way they are performing.

I work for BJ's, and I bought these also. I have to agree, they suck out loud. They are marketed under different names at different retailers, so watchout.

I put the Rain-X ones on my wife's car and they seem to work very good after I pulled the Blue covers off of them.

The Goodyear Assurance wipers that Costco sells are excellent. Sometimes two for one with coupon ($7.99).

Hey, if Rainman recommends wipers, they have to be good.

This... also, their metal frame wipers are my personal choice on any cars I drive. They work, they're quiet, and they last. The price difference is negligible when they last twice as long as the ones that are a couple bucks cheaper.

That would be great if I even had wiper arms installed on my car. They are in the trunk in case I need them.

I always have Rain-X on the windshield & rarely have to use the wipers in warm weather. But, when you have roads covered in sand salt & calcium like we do right now wipers are a must - along with a plentiful supply of washer fluid.

The unexpected has occurred!
I just received a call from the Tech services Dept. at Old World LLC. The parent company of PEAK.
The guy asked what problems I was experiencing with the wiper blades. I explained, he then gave me a choice of either a pair of replacement Bridge (steel fame) wipers or a complete refund. I chose the refund.

I've found that it usually pays to take the time to write a company if you receive a defective product.

rofl...I didn't notice those blue covers either til the first good rain.

I bought some new Rain-X Latitudes for my truck a few months ago. The other day, one of the ends came off meaning that the whole damn assembly slides right out once you flip the wipers on. Could have tossed the $20 bill right out the window and been ahead. I bought a Bosch this time. We'll see how long that lasts. And Rain-X gets a very nasty letter once I'm done moving. I don't even care if I get a refund. It's time to speak my mind (what's left of it ).

Hmmm. I've used both the Bosch Icons and the Anco equivalent and loved them both. Best blades I've ever used. The Bosch were on the Beater 'Bu when I bought it, and I got a great deal on the Ancos when Autozone discontinued them last year - put those on my Z28 and those same blades were still rock-solid clean swipes when I sold it a year later.

I've found that in COLD country the plastic framed wipers will not flex in the lower temps. This makes them hold the contour that they are in from the parked position. Causes big gaps in the wiping. I continue to use the cheap metal framed ones down here and replace them every year.
