Yes. I can only assume you've never attended a memorial held in a Black Baptist church. It's a celebration of a life, a way of making a joyful entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Exception noted, however, I somehow doubt that's what was happening in Tucson. I don't blame the president, I blame the ones in the audience for inappropriate behavior at a memorial. They behaved like it was a political rally instead of a memorial, which was disrespectful to the families.
I didn't hear dixieland music, I didn't hear "praise Jesus" like you would in a black church, it was cheering like you'd hear at a political rally.
That's what we did for my mother's funeral. That's what she wanted, and damn if we didn't hire a small dixieland group to play.
My family (on my mom's side) has a crypt in the St. Louis #1 cemetery in the Storyville neighborhood in N.O. and has used it for DeLong family members and their descendants for the past 100 years or so. The ashes of my maternal grandparents, great-grandparents and their children are all or will be interred there. That's where I'll be when the time comes as well as my name's already on the plaque....
No end date yet, of course.

They are so anti-republican they will vote for people willing to HIJACK a memorial service to rally their supporters. I would never vote for a republican who did this, then again, I've never been so desperate for candidate that I would have to settle for one that would steal from the dead. LOL most grave robbers wait for the corps to hit the grave yard, these guy pick the pockets at the memorial in front of everyone.

Several news reports of the memorial said it was more pep rally than memorial service.
What is wrong with Democrats? Years of inbreeding. Always destroys the gene pool, resulting in low intelligence, atheism and authoritarianism.
heybjorn,
You forget to mention the other end result of what is wrong with Democrats, and above the inbreeding---(you could substitute the teaching of BIG government as opposed to producing life from a family member), and that is unintelligence. Debating and reasoning on a particular fact, not a feeling, remember, is similar to driving your Fiero blindfolded! Can't be done. They are, as a whole, SO SO ignorant, baseless and vapid of facts.
