I have a glass jar to catch your firefly with. I don't know what all the other stuff is. I only recognized the word firefly. Actually the gun is a P22. It's my first handgun, so I went entry level.

Ah, I should have known it was s 22, but dad and step-mom each have one. Firefly is the name of the TV series those clips are from.
I am forever waiting for his avatar to move. (come on, smack the invisable butt, already!!!!) save it as a .gif, not a jpg...? (is the original one animated? or are you purposefully making us all wait for that smack upon the invisible heiny?)
Boonie: I am formless. I am non-entity, I am in stasis until the paperwork returns..I am the mist...a cloud among shadows...framed.

Very good! I felt it said it all. The frame suggests that there is a general form...... Funny how an empty picture frame seems stuck in limbo, waiting to be somethimg.

When i go to a .gif host site and copy the link of a working .gif over to here, it comes through as a static picture. I think this place resizes it, and anytime I have resized a .gif, the animation has gone out the window, leaving me with a static picture.

http://gickr.com/ Easy way to make your own .gifs and size them properly so the system doesn't have to. (read: keep the animation)

I pulled the art from the net and redrew it, made a stencil, and painted it on my hood. The inspiration was from the movie "Death Proof" with Kurt Russell. I did not want to be too morbid, so the Bartman was a perfect image.

How I post an avatar: This is how I get it to work. There may be an easier way, but this works everytime for me:
Ok.
1. Find a picture on the net you want (or ignor this step if you already have the one you want on your computer) and download it to your computer by right-clicking it and then click "Save picture as.....". Save it to your desktop simply as "untitled" if you want, or name it whatever you want. You shouldn't have to shrink it, as i'm pretty sure Pennocks profile automatically shrinks it to the allowable size.
2. Go to Photobucket and set up an account. This is a free photo-hosting service. You will then have an "Album" in which to store photos.
3. At the top of your Album, you will see a green button called "Upload Now". Press it.
4. Then you will see a large green button called "Select Photos & Videos". Click it.
5. A window will open up showing your computer harddrive. Click "Desktop" at the right of that window or wherever you put the picture in step 1.
6. Left-click the name of that picture, then left-click "Open" on the bottom-right of the window you are in. The picture will be atomaticlly uploaded to your "Album" at Photobucket.
7. Once you see it there, left-click the long blue button to the right of the picture called "Save & Continue To My Album".
8. Hover your cursor over the picture and a options menu will pop up with an "Img Code" box at the bottom. Left-click the "img code" in the box. It will then say "copied....".
9. Close Photobucket.
10. Go to "Profile" in upper-right of Pennocks and log in.
11. Down on the left where it says "Avatar", go to the text bar, right-click it, and choose "Paste" and left-click it. The img code you brought from Photobucket should now be entered there.
12. Now, REMOVE the bracketed img text ( at the back of the sentence) from the end and beginning of that full address you just entered into that text box. Example: Change to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx by just removing the ends.
13. Now left-click "Submit Modifications" at the bottom of the Pennocks profile page you are on.
At this point I like to close Pennocks and then reopen it for it to take hold. Go look at one of your posts. You should now have a avatar!
