I'm curious. Why are you upset that it's gone? From what I have read in this thread he was a convicted pedophile (7 times) and had disgusting videos. To each their own, I'm sure there is a site that will support him. I never saw it, so I may be missing something huge here.

After seeing the pig video ( which to be honest has completely ruined my evening ) i think i can safely say we have missed nothing.
What about that slippery slope of losing free speech you so often mention?
Youtube is a private company, so they have the right to remove, or allow, as they feel ( and note i didn't actually call for them to remove it even tho i disagree with the subject ).. When the Government gets involved is when i start yelling about slippery slopes and constitutional rights.
That said, filming pedophile behavior or cruelty to animals is not a free speech issue anyway..

The Cite that the info that the member posted above was setup BY one of his ex's and the Video of the pig slaughter WAS on youtube. What you dont see in the video on the hater cite is that they club the animal with a large hammer BEFORE cutting its head off for a pig roast- Much like many animal slaughterhouses.
He started to post his videos a few years ago in the hopes that he could somehow reconnect with his children preferably his sons that were taken away from him due to the unfortunate precedings in court and even tho he was granted weekend custody of the kids, the ex- gf's took them and moved almost to the other side of Canada.
Well, his plan worked! His son Adam is at the farm with his friends quite frequently and he has had contact with his other children over the phone and they are supposed to go to the farm sometime in the late spring of 2011 as they will be 18 and no longer held by their obsessive and spiteful mothers.
Im not condoning the fact that he did use a video camera to film indecent things- im simply setting the facts straight and not letting bullshit statements float around on this forum.

Ah--it's ONLY slippery if a govt entity does it--I see. So, if riaa makes a decision that curtails one's ability to download whatever they like, you have no problem with it? Don't get me wrong, I agree with youtube's decision fully, but a loss of freedom is still a loss no matter who makes the decision. It's not the identity of the decision maker that is the issue--or even the content--it's the loss. Or, it should be.

Did anybody else find this strange? or is this just normal in Canada? The farm is full or junk cars and russian sluts?

Until they got the government involved and started to manipulate our laws, i didn't have a 'problem' with them taking technological steps to prevent it ( and conversely, the steps to circumvent ). They crossed that line however and got the government involved, so its moot now, and i do have a problem. Their 'decisions' should have stayed in the 'private arena' and i don't feel they should have been worth anything in the 'pubic arena'. ( especially since i don't believe in IP 'rights' in the first place, and don't think the government should have any involvement with ... ). But that's just me
( but we are getting OT here i think since i don't see a correlation between some sicko being taken off line by youtube due to TOS violations and the RIAA trying to prevent me from copying a song via buying laws like the DMCA.... )
EDIT: And as far as the weirdo, ( forgetting the potential illegal stuff that was discussed above, just to be fair for the discussion ) i do agree its a shame that a person was squelched and would wish youtube would not restrict 'speech' based on content, but its still their right.

I didn't see the anything on his videos that was pedo or chainsawing or nudism until I saw the attack stuff.
Until I have seen the attack stuff it's all been quite redneck but what the attackers focus on.
Is this the guy that has bench seats hanging off of the front of cars and takes people for a ride and hits the breaks? I have seen some of his videos and not knowing his history I wouldn't understand why it was taken down. But the pig thing was too much. Thats going to stick with me.

I just said the pig thing was pretty bad and wasn't something I would want to see again. I wouldn't watch his videos after seeing that. But thats my opinion, its not like someone was forcing me to watch them. I dont know what other videos he has on youtube as I wasnt following them. You tube must have felt it needed to pull the videos, I cant speak for them.

That's the guy. He had a motorcycle powered go kart that he made videos of, crashing a junk car through an old burning doghouse, and a lot of other nutty car related videos.

I have hear that before. Somehow the idea that I should just trust without evidence escapes me.
Just use logic. They have better things to do then randomly pick people off for fun. There were complaints, they followed up and removed the content. Pretty simple.

I just watched all 3 reports on daves farm and i have to say he is kind of being treated unfairley now i dont know all of the details and im not a daves farm fan by any means (personaly i think its a waste of badwith) but when it comes down to it this is a classic case of a nobody making it and people who dont like him trying to drag him down. All thoes people who had somthing to say about him had a reason not to like him (his past) all the cases thast were said about him (except for the 13 year old saying he slept with a 12 year old) are stupid. his one wife (only name i got out of it was beast.. the bigger one) said she felt uncomfertable when he said he's just like me i have 2 friends who jokingley said that about there son's and dont have a pedo thought in there head. the guy has clearley grown up from what he was but some people just have to judge a persons daily character by there long distant past. in the long run i dont care if he gets shut down or not but he is being treated unfairley
