Looking for feedback for Auto Parts Warehouse and OES Genuine.

Friend of mine needs a harmonic balancer for a 1990 Prelude, b21a1 engine. Not carried at any of the usual stores, like Rock Auto, Autozone, Advance O Reilly's, or Napa. The brand they carry is OES Genuine (seems to be the popular brand on google search), and APW has the best price I've found. I've never ordered anything from them or bought that brand.

My experience with Auto Parts Warehouse wasn't good. The part (a fuel pump) didn't even come close to fitting, and their no-hassle return service doesn't exist. Took forever to get an authorization, and close to 5 months and numerous phone calls before I got a refund.

Have you tried Rock Auto? I've had pretty good luck with them.

Don't do it. That company is a scam. I recently delt with them scam artists. Their web site claimed to have a part in stock that virtually nobody else had. They took my money and never gave me the part.

Here is a link to a site that tells others about them. They have numerous websites with different names. The web site I used was ThePartsBin. The 10-15-2010 review is mine. There are hundreds others if you search all their sites. None are good.

We buy from APW all the time as an outside-buy vendor. Haven't had any real problems that I'm aware of... (But then, we're a national account, so they may go out of their way to help us where they might otherwise ignore the "little guy")
