A becoming good friend and member of this website is being harrassed by another member over some happening this past summer and I want to stop it and mediate between them before it escalates and causes major drama on this awsome forum.
The member guilty of the Harassment has a low post count but sounds like he knows how to push buttons and bully those that are "less off" than He and it Pisses me off that I have sent him a few messeges only to be told that and i quote "I can do whatever I want to, If I am banned so be it, I'll just make another screen name and countinue"
The member he is bullying is young and in the middle of a really hard time both Financially and health/family wise and has expressed such to the first member to no avail.
i dont want people to be banned from this awsome online forum over such silly things but I wont stand and let someone less fortunate be bullied by a upper class thug!

I agree with WD for once, Nothing good is going to come of this thread. If the guy being bullied has a problem with another member in the means of harrasment its up to him to report the situation to the proper authority's
for god sakes its just a car forum how much fun can you have bullying another fiero owner?

I would say that you should contact Cliff, and see what he says.
It would be wise to keep users names out of it for right now, or forever until something can be done.

I have contacted the one party and they have requested to be kept anonimous as this is rather an embarassing thing to have happen i suppose and i intend to keep both partys that way unless the Bullying one says the wrong thing and lets the Army hound out of the cage!

Well, what i ment is I don't think Cliff gets involved with this type of thing. I think the rating system is sussposed to deal with it that way.

I expect to see a new "bad seller/buyer thread any day. Cliff does not like threads started about things that occur in other threads. From "Posting rules: Do not start threads about other threads. So you get in a heated discussion in one of the threads. You get the feeling you are not getting your point across. So you feel the need to start a new thread explaining what you meant in the first thread. Don't. Since there's already a thread on the subject, say it there. 3. The rating system usually takes care of trolls fairly quickly, but since this seems to be about something that initially happened off forum, and seems to have found it's way into @ least 2 (now 3) threads and sections, but only one side of the issue is yet public, it may take awhile. 4. In before the trashcan.

My advice is not to get involved in other people's squabbles. They need to settle their differences like grown-ups, instead of trying to drag other people into it.

THIS is the REAL tragedy. This forum has been around since 1999 and there was a time when it was full of people who (unlike lately) KNEW what they were talking about. BUT look at who's doing all the posting now days - num nutz, no-money, know nothing, attitudinal kids (or kids' mentality) that post thousands of times per month, blasting their BS, bad attitude and info. Most of the people you're referring to got disgusted and are long gone or have no desire to post anymore.
Check it out; look at the dates by the member names.
BUT who gives a $hit. This is the internet. It's not about info, it's about getting the friggin' hits on the website ...... so the crap continues .......

I dont see why any non fiero owner or non fiero fan would want to but none the less its still a public forum, And via the rating system we all have a choice on who stays and who goes. Christ you even got pissed off at me over a potental sale that dident go right No money was transfered and I was honest with you on the terms and conditions of the product and you go and called me a "loser" because i couldent find a set of wires that wernt even in the items descripition It was being sold as is where is, And you still put me on blast about it, And you think everyone else on this forum is a bad additude and bad mouth kid?
Also to the no money part you tried to barter parts with me on an item I was asking $30 for.

And i agree 100%. God knows i'v taken my share of bullying on this forum from other people but i just man up and either fight back or just let it roll off my sholder. Best bit of advice is to just back off of it.

This is something we learn in grade school early on... if not, you learn it quickly by middle school... if not, you are hopefully bigger than everyone else so it doesn't matter.
I've learned it, I think this other person should to.
I'm pretty derisive, arrogant, and speak my mind... but I have yet to get a PM that's abhorantly nasty (well, up until this point... sure I'll get some now for fun). If I did... and someone was generally really upset about something I said... then I'd just say sorry... and never respond again.
Real simple... crazy people and sociopaths need / want attention. If you don't give it to them, they go away. If they see you getting excited about something, they'll keep pushing. Just ignore them...
If he/she is harassed through PM, there's a nice little "Ignore" button near the top right of the page. There you can block any person from sending you PMs.
If he/she is harassed on the forum in public threads, then I would appreciate (in PM) a link to such a thread. I can then take appropriate action if needed.

I'm going to third or fourth this. If you're really compelled to be involved, than you're probably much better off just giving support and thoughts to your friend about how to deal with it, as opposed to trying to swoop in with your cape flapping in the wind. Conflicts like this never go well in open forum, and often end up with all kinds of people taking all different sides, or just condemning everyone involved. Negs get handed out and it never ends the way you think it might. I understand the desire to come to the defense of your friend, but I think you and he both will be far better off if you let him handle it, and just be there to provide what support you can in the background.

Also, tell him/her to remove their email address from their personal info so there's no link to it from PFF. Both methods ended a lot of unpleasant communications for me personally.

I thought that too, given the location. I am pretty sure it is Ramsespride and Driven5. I just don't understand how it is any of this guys business. They are both adults, let them figure out there problems. If he is being ACTUALLY abusive (verbal or physical in the real world), then it needs to be taken into the hands of the law. If it is verbal abuse on the forum then the party being affected needs to contact a moderator. This isn't a complex situation here.
