www.pandora.com is all I stream. It's free with a few commercials and you can make your own playlist with some suggestions, based on what you like, from the Music Genome Project thrown in. I really like it.

I use Pandora myself. I have a Jimmy Buffett Station, a Nine Inch Nails Station and a Great Big Sea station. GBS is great for drinking beer and working on the car.

Dear Pandora Visitor,

We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative.

We believe that you are in Canada (your IP address appears to be xxxxxxxxxxxxx). If you believe we have made a mistake, we apologize and ask that you please contact us at pandora-support@pandora.com

<sigh>

Yeh, I know about hotspot shield and proxies....but this is a 10-year-old laptop and I really-really dont want to confuse it. I had to cuddle it for a whole damn week before it would stop crying when I made it run XP.

i stream pandora for about 50 hours a week at work, i have the pay version, like $36 for the whole year,
but you get no adds, better quality and a custom player with skins and more skips
well worth the $36 IMO
i have like 6 channels and leave it on mix most of the time
also i stream it from my phone to my car, and when i come home it streams to my BD player

Yeah, I'm really getting tired of the sites I can't use because I am in Canada.

I use www.live365.com.

I have yet to find a genre they didn't give me access to. The site is very easy to negotiate and, upon registration, is free.

Guess I'm the weird one, I just listen to music on my computer rather than streaming radio.....no commercials and I know I'll only hear songs I like....and I don't have a limited number of skips per hour...
