If you like First Person Shooters/Sniper games, you gotta get this game for the PC. Good graphics, tuff enemies, slow-motion headshots, it's got it all!
Not everything. The dead guys shadow does not match his body. His head is tilted back and to the right behind his left arm--shadow shows head erect and tilted to his right.

EA dumps Taliban player mode from "Medal of Honor":
Citing feedback from "friends and families of fallen soldiers," Electronic Arts said it would remove the Taliban name from its new "Medal of Honor" game's multiplayer mode. Instead, that player selection would be called "Opposing Force."
EA raised a ruckus a month and a half ago when it announced the upcoming shooter would give people the option to fight against U.S. forces as a member of the Taliban when playing in multiplayer mode.
"Medal of Honor" executive producer Greg Goodrich had this to say, excerpted from a statement released by EA:
We have also received feedback from friends and families of fallen soldiers who have expressed concern over the inclusion of the Taliban in the multiplayer portion of our game. This is a very important voice to the Medal of Honor team. This is a voice that has earned the right to be listened to. It is a voice that we care deeply about. ...
While this change should not directly affect gamers, as it does not fundamentally alter the gameplay, we are making this change for the men and women serving in the military and for the families of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice this franchise will never willfully disrespect, intentionally or otherwise, your memory and service.
As GamesBeat's Dean Takahashi points out, this kind of controversy doesn't necessarily hurt games sales: Activision's "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" sold very well despite the fact that players could participate in a "civilian massacre." Indeed, EA announced yesterday that the new "Medal of Honor" game had already set a pre-sell franchise record. However, the protests were starting to affect the bottom line, not to mention EA's public image: Because of the Taliban player mode, the U.S. military planned to ban it from base retailers.
The game is still on track to ship October 12. Anyone still dying to fight against American soldiers can always pick up an early "Call of Duty" game, where you can play as a Nazi in multiplayer matches. Probably won't win you many friends.
Oh, it may be a great game Boonie- and I meant no offense---the landscape backgrounds are certainly good and realistic, but as the pics loaded (slowly on dialup) that white forearm and hand jumped right out at me. The guy goes to all the trouble of wearing the "ragsack", and then exposes his white skin----that would never happen, nor would the upturned sleeves, that reveal the lighter underside of his jungle camos. In the 2nd set of pics, (cutthroat)--center picture--where he is sneaking up on the opposing guy, move back a bit from your monitor, hold your thumbs up to obscure your view of his lower arms. (you may have to close one eye) His suit makes him virtually invisible against the background--I can't even make out his shape. Then move your thumbs out of the way--presto--he's fully visible, just because of his white arms and hands. Those black bands on his forearms accentuate the white on his arms as well. Wolfhound had posted a thread somewhere a couple of years ago, some pics of some real NVA in a treeline, but untill he pointed them out to us exactly, they were invisible, and I had looked very hard. His unit dinged them shortly after he took the pic.

I was only commenting on the game as a game, not a "simulator", or for it's realism.
But yeah, thinking about it, everyone in the game shows bare arms below the elbow. I think it was a desision made to make the game "more appealing", forsaking the realism so it "looks" better playing it. They probibly thought that if the arms were camo'ed, you couldn't see them against the gun in the first person view, or the arms against the camo of the enemy. It looks like they put alot of work into those forearms just for that reason.
The game probibly didn't start out that way, but someone down the line demanded the change, for the sake of visual "pop". Better gameplay becouse of less visual "confusion"? I don't know.

i disagree... i think the shadow lines up perfect. his head is tilted back, but from the point of view of the sun, it would appear in the shadow to be straight up and down.... pointless to discuss, i just wanted to point out i disagree..
Maybe, but considering the complete tilt back of his head, and the fact that his neck is even visible in the shadow, his torso's shadow would have been much much shorter. Only way his head and neck could show up with that much back tilt would be if the sun were almost straight overhead--thus shortening or completely eliminating the rest of his body's shadow.
