I use my G/F's phone while I'm at work and I got a call from +91507 asking for her or one of her family members. I told her about it and she said it was someone from the government wanting to give her something or somesuch. I've done a little searching, but I can't figure out where the number is from or who owns it. Does anyone here know anything about this number, or have any way of finding anything about this number.

Apparently she figured out that it was a scam a long time ago, and just now (less than 10 seconds ago) told me about it... :/ I'm still curious about the phone number though that it's only 5 digits. The "+" gave it away as being international, but I don't know of any country that has less than 9 or 10 digits in their pone numbers...

You can spoof most any number. Creditors do it often, random numbers with fewer then normal digits to make it harder to block them all. when i first got my number from ATT i was getting lots of 000 calls due to the previous owner. They went a way but are starting to come back

there is an android app that lets you disguise your voice and make the caller ID show up as anything you want. the voice altercation part was actually pretty good, could make any man sound like a legit female, or vice versa. last i checked they had to stop allowing its use in the US
