How ironic is it to work on Labor Day? Heh.

It was bad timing for this POS test rack to get dumped on me to build in a hurry. I've been here for 10-11 hours the last couple days and will do the same Sat, Sun, Mon, and Tues, need to get it done by Wednesday.

It's going to be a lonely weekend, you guys need to keep me entertained on my breaks.
Though, all of the overtime in addition to holiday pay is going to be awesome! It'll go straight into the Fiero (or has it already?).

Anyway, I'm not complaining, just kinda bummed a bit, I was planning on installing the Corsa cat-back and CAI on the Camaro this weekend.
I'm VERY happy to have a stable well paying job, though.
Have a good weekend everyone!

Glad you guys are glad to work too.

Well, that didn't work out too well. I had a severe IBS-C "attack" (if you will) yesterday and nothing would help, not even extreme measures, in fact they made it worse. So, last night I was in severe pain including a bad headache and got ~4 hours of pathetic sleep.
Long story short, I'm still not doing well so I can't make it in to work today. I better be better tomorrow because this EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) rack is being pushed from high above since it's WAY behind schedule already (due to previous poor management and engineering on multiple levels). *groan*
Anyway, I figure this is as good a place as any to vent. Thanks for reading, if you bothered.

To all who get to work this weekend, count your blessings as there are many in the world without jobs who wish they could!

Im off all weekend, but then Im off for the rest of my life too,

One of the girls wanted to do a nude/ sexy outdoor photoshoot monday, but with it being a holiday, I figure none of the lakes or state parks would be good with end of summer Labor Day crowds everywhere all around.

That sounds like you're retired and going to take nude photos of your daughter.

I'm on vacation this week but I prefer to call it retirement practice. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it's not a train.

Ill correct that to read 'one of the girls at the restaurant ' before anyone starts preaching. Most that know me know what I was talking about.

Me too. I'm working and I almost was rear ended by an elderly grey headed lady on the PCH today. It's stop' n go traffic and this lady is blazing down the road as if her Depends needs changing. I saw her day lamps coming towards me so I put the car in 1st gear and move towards the middle of the two lane hwy. The spot were I once was-is now occupied by her. The driver in front of me didn't have a chance to move, because he was too close to the car in front of him. The elderly lady realized something was up because I had moved alerting her of the danger. She moved to the side of the road to avoid hitting the other guy.

Oh yeah, those jackass bike riders are just asking for an accident by riding along side of cars and passing them. For all who are driving your Fieros be careful and give yourself enough room to move it somebody behind you isn't paying attention.

edit: spelling and I'm still pissed!
