Too lazy to find the old thread. Perseid Meteor shower is underway now till dawn for North America.
Great Britain reported an extraordinary shower.

Overcast here last night and tonight but have watched many times, always lots of "shooting stars". Awesome viewing.

Camera is outside shooting time laspe. Gonna shoot a 3 hour laspe and post it in the morning.

Not here--I've seen some great ones so far. Not as many/hr as in years past, but more with long tails and more that were long lived than any shower in my memory.

Ive also seen some good ones. Just my camera cant see them like I can . I agree. They do seem longer than last year.

We couldn't see them because it was overcast.

It was great. We live out in the country so it was pretty dark, very nice show

From 4am till dawn, was probably the best meteor show I've seen in many many years, and I've seen them all when conditions allowed for nearly 25 yrs. Tonight--midnight till dawn, should/could be about 1/2 as good.
