I don't have a 190 but I do have a 72a. It's a bolt action .22 and I love it. It's very fun to shoot and very accurate, even with the old peep sights. Do you have any pics of your 190?

Ya i was cheking GB and they were rather high for what is just a brass tube and a spring munich was also pretty high. Ill check out your link when i get home tonight, and take a couple of pictures.
Also got a Glenfield marlin 75 from the same guy for 50. Its intact except for the barrel band ( not all that critical ) but needs torn apart and cleaned *real* bad, + the barrel scrubbed with steel wool.
Check on the sites you have already found for the lengths they should be listed. My marlins were on about 100 different places and easy enough to make with copper tubing. I even cut 3 lengths of copper and soldered an end on one end and then found cap plugs for the other to speed load.

------------------ Technology is great when it works, and one big pain in the ass when it doesn't. Detroit iron rules all the rest are just toys.

The ones i have seen so far didn't have length but ill search around more during lunch. i suppose nothing else i could cut some copper extra long and 'fit' it so that it feeds properly then just duplicate that size in harder brass.. Could make my own metal end caps on the lathe.. ( an excuse to buy a knurler )

Make the outside out of SS and the inside out of copper or brass would be better and what I think the originals were.
Steve
Outside tube is there and intact. its the inner that is the problem. I also assume brass is OEM as all the other tubefeds I have seen were brass.
Gonna stop at lowes tonight to see what they have, since its on the way home and fastenal closes before i can get there. If they dont, ill just order some from onlinemetals
