well, i replaced both IC chips. now i have a new problem. tv wont turn on. makes a click when i hit the power button, makes 2-3 noises that sound like cricket chirps, then clicks again and is off. ive heard some resistors need to be replaced with the ICs often, but i cant find and that are noticeably bad.....

it is a Mitsubishi i believe. i think the model number is unimportant, seeing as how i am not asking HOW to fix it, im just asking to see if anyone knows WHAT needs to be fixed.

edit to add model, i found it finally lol

Just have to ask --- why? big screens are now so cheap you may have reached the point of diminishing return. (as I realized after giving up on my sony projection after then third rebuild)
