Is this sustainable?

Almost fifteen percent of the U.S. population (app. 300 million as of 2009) are basically wards of the state. Is this compassion? (That was a rhetorical question. The answer is obvious).

No it is not sustainable. The helpless will soon outnumber the strong. They will be the anchor on our ankle that drowns us.

You know what the answer is, take the abusers off the system, if there are still to many, then the qualification rules need to be changed.

Actually, I can see them asking how they can justify the money. From what I understand the libs have very rarely, if ever, been in favor of funding military programs....
