Can't say I am happy about this, however the Sharks were the better team in this series. Congrats out to the Sharks.

(I am impressed in the Wings rookie goalie, and feel we are in good hands in the crease for years to come)

Best of luck to the Sharks on the rest of the way in the playoffs.

Unless a miracle occurs, I'm afraid the Canucks will be joining the Red Wings on the golf course real soon.

I figured I'd hear from you, Doc. Sorry for you about the Wings. I've always felt that beating the Wings was a helluva accomplishment. ALWAYS a tough team to beat, which is why I was so stoked. Nice to win it at home, too.

I hadn't been following that series. Canucks not looking too good?

Man oh man, they don't deserve to go on in the playoffs. They're taking so many stupid undisciplined penalites, and then they can't kill the penalties. They've been lit up for way too many short handed goals against during these playoffs.

Easy to be the better team when you've got twice the number of powerplays as your opponent and you're opponent is tossed out of twice as many faceoffs as you are...it'd have been interesting to see the results had it not been a horribly officiated series.
