Cue Superman theme music.........Obama to the rescue

Obama: Authorities Investigating Wild Market Swing

Associated Press

President Obama says regulatory authorities are looking into Thursday's wild swings in the stock market with an eye toward protecting investors and preventing something like that from happening again.

A computerized sell-off sent the Dow Jones industrial average plummeting by a near-record 1,000 points within about a half-hour Thursday afternoon. Fear that the European debt crisis could spread was a factor. The market regained two-thirds of that loss before the end of trading.

Obama said he spoke Friday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel about the economic situation in Europe. He says they agreed on the need for a strong response by the affected countries and the international community.

Typical government involvement. After millions of tax dollars, press conferences with Obama "promising" to get to the bottom of it and many new Senate and House bill proposals to fix the market---more closely to communism is my bet---the bottom line, the final result after all this idiosy, is: There were more sellers than buyers. Gee, you think so?

Cordially,
Kevin

I mostly do not respond to grammar nazi's
esp when they totally skip the point of the post
and make wildly incorrect guesses about me
some of which come very close to libel esp for a law school drop out

What is exactly is your definition of a "grammar nazi'? By suggesting, as you do, with zero grammatical knowledge and limited understanding on how to respond with analytical skill with anyone that knows how to construct a sentence, using proper grammar and diction, is an admonition that you have ZERO grammar skills! Second, I did not skip the point of this post. In reality, YOU did, by not answering or explaining your position. Understand, (again I know it is close to impossible, given your limited schooling) that you cannot place yourself on a stable paradigm of reason, in other people eyes, when you can't spell or know how our government stock market is structured--both mathematically or historically. The Democratics, are not for the little guy; at the same time, the GOP is not the party "for the corporations". As a matter of fact, there are more millionaire Democtatics than there are Republican millionaires in Congress. Their millionaire status is due to their strong lobbying corporations feeding THEM the millions of money. Did you know that? Probably not, since as discussed above, you are not a learned individual. This seems to be your argument for Obama and against the Republicans. Let's try something really simple: Define a corporation? Define lobbying? Or, define libel, margin, hedge funds or long and short positons? If you can do either, I will grant you are one step closer to passing the high school equivilent test. Oh, you forgot to answer my earlier question above, do you think the world is flat?

Cordially,
Kevin

p.s. We both like Fiero's, so you cannot be completely ham-fisted. Know this from our wonderful world, we can always explore and learn new concepts. Just ask! We are here to help you...

Given that Kevin described you nearly perfectly based on your behavior on here, I can see why you wouldn't want to get in a discussion with him.

Maybe his comments were sobering.

Where are you ray b?

I think most of us want to hear from you.

Did you sleep in this morning? Did you go to work today after the rock concert?

Cordially,
Kevin
