You know the little fighter ships from Planet Doom, in the lion series. I need to find a pic or two of them...I want to draw one up in Solidworks and make a model of one. It think it would be a great little project.

I watched it as a kid. I did a quick search, but couldn't find anything but the Voltron lions. I have Voltron in a box sitting in the closet. They are the steel lions and not the plastic.

Better still, make a model of the GodPhoenix.

I watched as a kid, and had the lion toys too. Although, they were recalled for lead paint, which was the end of having them.

I don't remember the names of the ships, but recently ran across a post from someone who posted this: http://www.crackle.com/c/Voltron/?cmpid=610 A link to where you can watch the old episodes.

Drule were the bad guys for the Vehicle Voltron......these ships "shaped like a C" worked for Zarkahn. What is Godphoenix from??

Three robots. I remember seeing the toy in the store and thinking "WTF?!?". Never watched the show, it wasn't as popular as the other two. I liked the red plane that sits on the chest in the Vehicle one. Reminded me of a Fiero for some reason...


I remember seeing 'Voltron' in a store a few years before it was on TVs - it was called "LionBot", and it was just so awesome. Expensive though. Then Voltron came along...They recently came out with a voltron that looks like the one in the show, (not as 'chunky', more 'skinny')

That dog pic rocks! Man I thought I could sit down today and whip this thing up but no luck. Too busy at work today......oh well next week. I need to get screen shots anyway The toy is very close to the cartoon but not quite the same.
