i have tried to load it, and it seems to work, until I try to 'use Skype'. Then it won't co-operate!!Grrr
I bet my phone provider has blocked it

I don't have a BB anymore to try, but i would think if you had unlimited data they wouldn't be blocking anything. They might complain later about 'over use' but not block outright.

Not tied to a BES are you? ( don't think so, but figured it was worth asking )

I used it for awhile on my 'world editon' BB(forget the model number) it worked decently...
I need to check if it was Skype itself, or was some app which used the Skype network...
