They should be pressed in. You'd need to either get a ball joint press like hookedonspeed said, or you could makeshift it with a large C clamp in a pinch.

If you do get it and can get it up here, I could probably help ya out with em...I have most of the tools at my disposal here (air tools do wonders lol)

yeah I dont know that I'd want to drive that far thanks though. so basicly just have to take the wheel off and use basic tools other than that? I have a friend here who probably has the tool or something that will work. I'm just trying to do this on my own to save money I dont have

might help, so far I've found how to do the lower one, but not the upper. I'm changing the shocks too, all of which I've never done before, should be a "fun" learning experience.

hopefully its not too hard for me to do, because I have used parts to replace the really used ones with(I know, probably not smart), so I'll be doing it again later on when I can afford it, this is just to get me by until summer probably (hopefully )

but, its a nice vehicle... and everything works on it! will be a nice change from my last few vehicles.. I have had about 10 vehicles in the past... 6 years, and only 2 or 3 actually had a/c and heat both. and 4 had cruise, one didnt work so well... lol

anyway, its 4wd, high mileage but new transmission just put in, new heater core, tires are pretty good 2 are new, has nerf bars I'll probably take off and sell. (I hate the look of them, makes it seem lower to the ground..)

you can usually rent balljoint presses, its basicly a special c-clamp that will press them in/out. easy to use, sometimes the factory joints have a little spotweld onthem youm might need to break first, but 1 or 2 hits w/ a chizzle takes short work of it.

shocks are pretty easy too, just unbolt old, bolt up new.
