Ran accross this by accident, and it's about a naturally "magnetic" geological formation in India. The text says if you park your vehicle in a certain marked spot, that the magnetic forces will "pull" it back up the hill if you place your vehicle in neutral and release the brakes . I'll let you decide--video is at the bottom of the page--I couldn't get it to link or embed.
We have a Magnetic Hill around here in Burlington, Ontario (a ten min drive) it is kind of freaky.
I grew up here (east end around the traffic circle) and have been hearing about that hill for 30 years without ever finding it. IIRC, at one time it was suppose to be king road, then the old York rd...any idea which one it really is?
i always thought I recongised that word as Spanish No doubt everybody knows it stands for 'sucks goat' By the sound on the audio of the video, i reckon the WIND is blowing the SUV along Nick

I went to some place like that when I was a kid. We were on a trip, and my Dad stopped by this "Magnetic Mountain" tourist trap. I was like eight, and I tought it was really cool. From where we were sitting, it really appeared we were rolling up the hill. I have no idea where it was, but I bet it's still there.

I grew up in Burlington as well... The magnetic hill is on King Road, just north of the Service road. If the gun club is still there, it is just past that. I took my Fiero there about 10 years ago and it didn't pull me up the hill... maybey too much plastic? Anyways, when I was a kid my dad used to take us there and I definately remember going up the hill in nuetral in a '64 Dodge A100 van.
I believe that area was a garbage dump up until 10 years ago...
There are several of these "Magnetic Hills" around the world. It is just an optical illusion. The lay of the land and the pavement gives the impression that you are looking up a hill, when in fact it is a gentle roll downwards.
