So for a while I've been wanting to try these. My teeth are stained a little and I'd just like to have whiter teeth. I'm also sitting at work bored since all my appointments canceled So has anyone tried these? How have they worked out for you?

Talk to your dentist. They can give you something similar to the OTC stuff but that is actually better - and cheaper.

I actualley researched this a while back.
The white strips contain a very, very low amout of the whiteening jell for a very high price and they dont get in between your teeth. You can buy whiteing gell off of ebay for less than $50.Thats were I baught mine. You will probuley need to go to a sportings good store and buy one of thsoe foot ball mouth pieces ($8) called a try by the ebay sellers (sometimes included with your order, but not allways). This product doesnt whiten vaneers or crowns (not noticible in the back,if you have crowns).Use for only 20 minutes any longer and the product will mix with you saliva and you may have something like water marks. But dont panic that will go away in a few days. The product is very safe to use.Its called carbamide peroxide jell (22%).The higher the percent, the quicker it works.1 or 2 tubes should be plenty.
Procedure for applying teeth whiteining gel.
Before each bleaching treatment, brush and floss your teeth. Do not use mouthwash prior to bleaching.1. Using Treatment Syringes: Remove the cap by twisting counterclockwise on the syringe barrel. Attach the metal tip applicator. You only need a very small amount for each arch treatment. Using the syringe plunger, eject a small dot of gel into each tooth impression to be bleached.
2. Wearing the Bleaching Trays: After filling the tray, place the tray firmly over the teeth. Wipe off any excess gel with a tissue. Wear your whitening tray for at least 20 minutes . 3. Post Whitening Preparation: After you remove the trays at the end of each treatment, brush your teeth softly with warm water only to remove gel. Do not Floss or use toothpaste.
4. Caring for Your Trays and Gel: After each treatment, wash trays in warm water. Store trays and gel in cool dry place away from direct sunlight. The gel may be refrigerated, but do not freeze.
Tooth sensitivity may occur during treatment. If sensitivity occurs, it will usually subside within two to three days after treatment is interrupted. It is recommended that clients who are pregnant or lactating consult their physician prior to use. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while wearing your whitening trays. Keep out of reach of children.

I'd still prefer to talk to my dentist. It is his job after all and I would hate to mess up my teeth trying to save a couple of bucks.

I use the Rembrant two hour stuff. It works really well for me. It comes with the mouth trays and enough gel for three twenty minute uses, with 10 minute breaks in between. The last 5 minutes of the last tray hurts like hell everytime but its worth it for the awesome results. I think I pay 20 bucks for the box and do it every 6 weeks or so.
