Ok so here is the deal, I have a well off friend and he called me up friday night to ask me if I wanted to go to 2 car shows with him. he told me to come over in the morrning so I could drive one of the cars over.
I said no problem knowing the cars he has, I would drive any one of them for him.
so I get there and they are cleaning the new Lambo as well as his 1300 hp twin turbo ZO6 Corvette. I am thinking cool I get to drive the vette
he comes out and says would you mind driving the Lambo because he feels like driving the vette today I say no problem
anyway here are a few shots from the shows.
D.

ps.. I love that car! now I just need 300K to get one

the important question here is, did you get to drive it like a lambo, or just like you were following a friend?

Very nice looking cars though.

I wonder how many people have asked him if his car was a kit?

I was never asked that, with the hood open it can not be mistaken for a kit. also with the redesign for 2010 just out I don't think anyone even has a kit of it yet.

IIRC, the Lambo is AWD. All a clutch dump will get you is a burned out clutch.

I would have lost the oppotunity to drive the Lambo because I would've had to go home and clean the creme out of my underwear.

LOL.

Modern Lambos are my favorite cars. Especially in person. The ultimate vehicle to me is the Reventon. Awesome.

Not to mention the car has so much grip, it would be nearly impossible to break loose without breaking something expensive...
(maybe on a dirt road with the traction control disabled)

There is nothing like driving a car thats worth more than a house. Back in the day when I was a lot attendent at mercedes there was this super rich dude that used to come in and out of there to just shoot the sh*t with his mercedes salesmen. He sold his company for 6 and 1/2 billion dollars so he had money. Every time he came in he had a diffrent kind of exotic car. and every one of them he used to let me take out on my lunch break if he was going to be there a while. I got to drive a ford GT Porsche carrera gt, Ferrari 360, Saleen S7, SLR mclaren. Gullwing SL, (ferrari maranello, my fav) gallardo, diablo. and a few others. It is amazing not to mention fun.

It will not do a burnout but it does have what they call a launch control. if you hit the button and gas it it will rev up and then take off like a bat out of hell
I like the Corsa mode on the car the best. when in this mode the exhaust opens up and the whole car gets stiffer with no shift lag at all.

One of my dad's friends went and bought a Ferrari (Don't remember the model. It was about 5 years ago.) he drove it up from the Carolinas where he picked it up, and on the way home stopped into the local police station. He walks in and says "Um, excuse me. I just bought a new Ferrari and would like to know at what speed you will take my license from me?"

Best part was we didn't here it from him... we heard it from one of the cops who was there when he asked.

Lucas electrics, warm beer, 9-month wait for parts and everything else that come with them damn brit machines.

Hey, Guys
Remember this Lambo I got to drive, my friend took it to Underground Racing 2 weeks ago.
once he gets it back by the first of Feb. it will have a new twin turbo system on it.
1300 HP and it will do 1/4 mile in 9 seconds flat.
and the best news, once it comes back I will get to drive it again
I will keep you all posted.
here is a vid. of one they already did.
