I bought a 'sit 'n spin' for my son, and tossed the box (why keep it?)

Bah...

They should call it 'sit n sit'. the dang thing moves soooo slowly. I remember gettin' pretty dizzy on that thing when I was a kid.
They probably slowed it down for safety reasons... Maybe I can 'fix' it with some ball bearings or somthin'

Lookin' on da web, I see other people complainin' about it.

now i dont know what there is but my 8 year old daughter can barley spin herself on it

The 2 sit 'n spins I bought my boys 10 years ago ROCKED! Best toy EVER for them. They were quite small for 3-4 years old, though.

You can make it a BIT faster if you remove a few of the screws on the bottom (there's a few pieces that clamp down on the movin' parts, it's like a stuck brake on a car... it's better, but still slow compared to the old version.

Anyone know where you can get a 'big wheel'? the old skool kind, with the hand brake thingie?

Thanks man, Target near me didn't have 'em, but that radio flyier one looks nice (it looks like the main wheel will last longer then the old one (I wore out two as a kid, the tire wore away and split)

I thought you were reffering to one of thoes things where you sit on like a disk with a handel sticking out of the top of it and you turn the handel and spin around on the thing. (sort of like a wierd merry go round) But big wheels are the best when I was a pup i had an all plastic one that got the ever loving sh*t beatin out of it. We used to have a stone driveway that i would ride it down that tore up the wheels and such but good times on that thing. Tey also used to sell a real nice metal one holds up a lot better than the plastic ones.

He was...but Rich brought up Big Wheels.

I could get my sit 'n' spin cruising so fast I would constantly be flipping the damn thing over. Then again, I still played with my little cousin's when I was ten and ~100 pounds, so that might have been why, haha.
