When we lived in TN our neighbor out front grew an acre of tobacco. It was by far the most labor intensive crop of all the things he grew.
You have to plant it, nurture it, harvest it, spear it, hang it, dry it, and then if you want to smoke it yourself you have to chop it and get it to the point of being able to roll it.
It’s worse than growing weed, and I should know.
I have friends who roll their own and that right there is another pain in the butt, time consuming part of the process.
Besides if you grow your own you don’t get that nicotine fix, or any of those other chemicals our wonderful tobacco companies kindly put in our smokes.
Sorry not worth it to me.
