A friend of mine identified part of the 'blue pill' today. Notice at the end of a recent press conference a 'reporter' brought up the whole arrest thing.
1.He had to know his answer would get people going. Black people mad about profiling. 'Law and order conservatives' get mad that he didn't side with the cop or butt out. Civil libertarians get all worked up about the arrest.
2.The question was a plant. The press secretary feeds questions. Anybody who has seriously worked in journalism knows that these events are tightly controlled. Any non-cooperating 'reporters' get kicked and never find a job again. Government and advertisers control main stream media and use them as propaganda arms. (yes, this includes Fox and talk radio)
Why would he have the question planted and then give an answer that stirs the pot?
Wag the dog? Definitely yes. Classic distraction move for Boobus Americanus to get all wrapped up in so he doesn't see the real news.
While freedom is going down the toilet the Oprah and Jon & Kate fans are all worried about the arrest and those limited short-term ramifications. Meanwhile Obama, the cop and his buddy all have beers at the White House.

Yes, I have. I studied it as an undergrad and worked a bit as a reporter and photographer. Got sick of the mainstream media and decided to study something else before finishing my degree.

I imagine that those events are highly controlled. It is an interesting theory that she was a plant. Kind of "stupid", if you ask me, though. Seems a little desperate.
