Today my kids and I were in a parade. We drove my go kart while my wife walked with us. They loved it and so did I. Kids on both sides of the road wanted to ride it with us.

The best parades are the ones that don't make a circle. You have to drive your parade vehicle back to where you parked your street vehicle. It was awesome sitting at a stoplight in a go kart with the cops standing right there. This is me being a total idiot. I only had my cell phone but I had to get it on video.


We had fun today.

Fun is good--especially if kids are involved.

Note in the video that it enlarges the age range of what's considered a kid.

My dad commented that it was funny that I fly a 30 million dollar airliner but get a bigger kick out of a $185 go kart. Simple pleasures are often the best.
