I need to replace the serpentine belt idler pulley on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid for a friend. Is there anything difficult/special about this? It looks to be a manual adjustment pulley. Couldn't find an Illistrated Parts Breakdown readily on it and I couldn't see it very well cause its kinda tight in its location. Please advise.

I found this online:

Use a 15mm wrench on the pulley and turn it counter-clock wise. That is for the power steering drive belt. Now for the air conditioner drive belt you would loosen the 2 bolts on the tensioner pulley bottom side with a 1/2" socket on a 3/8" driver. Do not remove bolts only loosen them slightly. Then, there is a slot on the left side of the tensioner pulley. Insert a 3/8" breaker bar into the slot and then crawl under the car to pull downward on the breaker bar. This will take a lot of effort. But not as much as is needed for putting the belt back on. Have fun!!!!!! My hands are all bloody. I just finished.

P.S. I just paid a shop $60 bucks to do mine...................I didn't bleed once.
