Passed and signed into law. Takes effect in August. Expected to be on a fast track to the Supreme Court. Texas adopting the legislation which is also expected to pass easily.

Actually, it is not so much the limitation on arms mentioned in the Constitution. This, as I understand it, is not just about guns. It is about states taking back their rights. We have that thread about Texas Gov Rick Perry talking succesion from the United States. Other states are offended too.
Pertaining to the gun issue, it is said the legal reason the Feds can regulate is because of Interstate Commerce. Which by the way goes way beyond guns. From my understanding, Montana, Texas, and other states are gonna start reaffirming their own sovereignty. Some are calling it the Civilistic War. Where not a shot is fired. Start looking for "The State Of _______ vs The United States of America". Actually not. The states are doing what they feel is legal. Some entity will have to sue the states.
