I know I cringed when they flipped the Charger on Fast and Furious 1.
I know it was probably a junker that they just painted and pulled to get going before they flipped it but it still looked pretty good right before it landed on the roof.

They must not show it in the trailer I watched because when it shows him from the front doing a wheel stand he`s driving about a 1970 Chevelle SS. And then later when he and a girl go under a truck that`s flipping, the car he`s driving almost looks like a Buick Grand National.

Actually, the wheel stand is in a 70 "F-bomb" Camaro, and the other is a Grand National. As for the Charger, its there, just not in the trailer.

As for the original topic - I see no reason to boycott Mythbusters. I mean, at the point that the car was given/sold to them its their car to do with what they wish. If we're going to boycott every organization that does something to a car I disapprove of then I might as well start boycotting the rice-burner clubs around the area...

The f bomb Camaro may do a wheelstand in the movie but the trailer I have seen where there are like 4 cars in a row it`s a Chevelle that does the wheelstand. You can tell because the Camaro has a full bumper all the way across and the Chevelle has a split type bumper.

Yes, the Chevelle does a wheelstand. It does this in the movie with Dom driving the Chevelle. He is racing Brian in a Skyline and they are racing a M5 and something else. The F-bomb Camaro does one as well.

Now back to thread............

SS Camaro's from 70-73 had split bumpers like my Buddy's '73 SS Z-28 (on the left, my '73 non split-bumper is on the right):

Ah yes, I didn't remember seeing that in the trailer. They do show the F-bomb wheel stand in the trailer I saw, though. Oh well.

They will have to put that one on hold for a while since she is pregnant right now. Unless that is your sort of thing...

Theres nothing like stompin' around in another man's freshly-planted cornfield!

Sorry, but for some reason, that idea made me laugh!
