DM: "Alright, you've made it to the top of the floating tower,you stand on a circular platform, perfectly smooth and slightly slick, over the side you can see the ravaged countrysideform your vantage point high above the clouds. On the edge of the platform is the large crystal that was used to control the army of the Undead, you can see it pulsate with negative energy"
Barbarian (friend): "and this is the thing we have to destroy?"
DM: "Yep"
Wizard (Me): "I inspect it, I want to know two things, specifically. First, Can it be moved, and second, what would it take to break it?"
DM: "It proves to be rather heavy, but you can slide it along the ground, for the other, I'll need a spellcraft check"
Me: (rolls die)
DM: "you determine that it would take alot of force to destroy, more than your likely able to do yourselves"
Me: "So we can't break it, and it's heavy as hell, and it's a really long ways down"
Barbarian: "I push it off"

DM: "it, uh, it falls really far,and, uh, breaks... yeah rolleyes
