Yep, sorta like whht came with my XD, too I don't see much advantage with the first 6 or 7 rounds. After that the spring is getting too tight and the loader helps fill the mag up. My PT92 is another candidate. It is practically impossible to fill the mag without a loader.

works well for me.. but i do like the idea of this generic one. Wonder if it will work on an AK47?
No need for one for an AK !! They just push straight in from the top, no need to try to push down in the front then push back. If you load an AK or AR with bullets pointing toward you and push them straight in, they load fast with no special tools !

Ill have to try it that way, always had them pointing away from me looking down.
