Well, this fall I decided it was finally time to let my Oldsmobile go, so I bought a Camaro to replace it... which, didn't go so well for reasons I'll explain later :P Then, I bought my first Fiero... and, as much as I love my Camaro and Oldsmobile, they just can't hold up to this baby, so it's time to sell them.

The Toro is in good shape, I paid $2000 for it about 4 years ago, and put at least that much into it in new parts, probably a bit more than that even. It still has a few minor problems, the rear bumber mount is rotted away, though the rest of the car is surprisingly rust free. There is a warped break rotor on there somewhere, a recent problem I haven't gotten around to repairing, and won't be able to untill spring. The foglights are smashed, which I have replacements for (spring again) and by far the most expensive thing wrong with it, is a broken sensor on the transmission. The PRDN switch, it doesn't affect the running of the car, it just makes it beep at you every time you start your car, or shift between reverse and drive. The part is $250, and can only be gotten through GM. It also needs some paint. And, that's all that's wrong with it. I have the service manual, and all the parts I took off the car.

Now, for the good: The car has the full electronics suite, VIC: Visual Information Center, which is a touch-screen in the dashboard from 1989, which has all sorts of functions including callendars, oil-life, navigation, car-phone, and detailed information about how your engine is running... all this, factory built from 1989. I recently replaced this, which was a fairly pricey part. It has a full digital dash, power seats/windows/heated mirrors. Burgandy leather interrior, with seats with 6 variable switches that make it more comfortable than a lazy-boy. The 3.8L engine runs strong, and gets an average of 20-25 MPG on its Overdrive-Auto Tranny. It has a custom-stereo, it's not a big "boomer" or anything, but the factory cassette deck is irreplacable with standard units. So, I hard-wired a sony discman into the dashboard :P It actually sounds just as good as the high-end stereo in my other cars, and is 100% removable if you don't like it, no alterations were made to the car, it's a completely custom unit, and I still have the orriginal cassette deck.

I'm looking for $2,000 for this if I get the breaks and foglights fixed... however, if somone wants it before spring, there will be a little bit of wiggle room on that to accomodate it. I only have one picture for the time being, due to the car being burried under a few feet of snow, but I can take more upon request.

As well as the Toro, I have a 1986 Camaro, with a multi-port Fuel Injected V6. The car is all 100% orriginal. What's left of the paint is still the original factory paint. :P The engine runs great, and the transmission is beautiful... the only thing mechanically wrong with it, is it needs new ball-joints, and the fuel sending unit is kind of fritzy in stop and go traffic. I orriginally bought this car, with the intention of restoring it. The interior is imaculate, minus a few cracks in the dash pad, and 2 tears in the drivers-seat.

The real problem with this car, unfortunately, is that it is a glorified parts car. It sat in a field for 3 years before I picked it up, and the underside is badly rotted. It didn't seem like anything worse than surface rust when I shelled out my $800 for it, which I thought was a steal, but after putting on all new breaks, getting some Royal Purple in the engine, and putting on new bearings, I got the car up on a hoist, and heard a loud "CRUNCH".... The seam right infront of the mount for the rear suspension is partially rotted... I'd say it's still got a good 20,000 miles on her if it's not abused. But, basically it's driving salvage.

If you need alot of Camaro parts, or know somone who does... if you want a 2.8L engine, or a good Auto Overdrive Transmission, this is a great choice. I'm hoping to break even and get $1,300 for it... but, that's probably not going to happen, so I'm asking for $1,000 for it.

Both these cars are in Chisholm, MN. You're welcome to come take a look at them, just PM me and I'll get you an adress... and dig them out of the snowbank... I have titles for both, and up-to-date registration for both as well.
