I need a computer program. i want to copy all of my pics to one folder. by buddycraigg

but i have a bunch of pics with the same name cause the camera gave them the same name, but put them in a different folder.

i sear i saw a free program that i could highlight all of the pics i wanted and then paste them into the folder i wanted, and if there was already a pic by the same name. then the program would give the moved file a different name automatically without any input from me.

any ideas?

pics of family

I used to have one that would basically do that, I think it was called retriever or something like that. It would also find pics that were the same pic but a different name and let you know so that you could delete them.

I use this one all the time, once you have all of your pictures renamed you can do a search for *.jpg and move them to one folder.

hmmmm.
cliff's program is starts up and then becomes a white screen in the window.
and uses 99% of the CPU.

so i guess i still need a program
