I realize this post is a bit late, but if you start a political thread, would you please put something in the title that will let us know that it's of a political nature?

Personally, I don't read any political threads and I'm sure there are many others who don't either. I also tend to attempt to read any thread that's not political. I've been "suckered" into a number of threads that sound non-political from the title but turn out to be otherwise.

The "Go-To" menu isn't exclusionary (you can't choose to see all posts except political ones) so that doesn't work as I want to see all but the political based threads.

I unchecked political under the Main menu in the Forums homepage, and I don't see the political threads anymore.

The only one I see right now that could be considered political is the one I wrote where someone stole my political signs. I probably should have posted it under political, but I wasn't thinking vote this way, or that way. I was just pissed that something was stolen from me.

Sorry if it was me that pushed you over the edge.

It works if the poster follows the forum rules and labels it political.
Some people just won't do it, for whatever the reason.
Simply click the dropdown under T/OT, un check "political" on the Forum menu.
I did it for a while, but then I got sucked back into the sewer......

Sometimes it doesn't start that way.. i don't think you can go back and change the 'marking' after the fact can you?

lol, I go back and forth too. Politics and religion are currently on "ignore" but that may change after the election.

NEPTUNE---It still wouldn't work as the Go-To menu I'm referring to is the one at the bottom of each main section page. As I said, I don't revisit the homepage between each section. I suppose I should.

All---I'm sorry if I came across sounding upset in any way. I'm not upset at all. I'm just making a request. If nobody wants to do it, no big deal. I'll still sleep fine. I just thought it might be a nice thing for others to do, especially during the elections.

MM: Sadly, many "non-political" threads will "turn that way" [political] on a dime in here....

If only my Formula handled THAT good.
