There is no worse hackjob than this one. I knew mitsubishi engines and transmissions could take some abuse but this thing is ridiculous. And paint everywhere. Pedals and all.

I'm going through that thread right now. It is just insane. What the hell where these guys thinking? They spent some money on some good parts. The expensive things that I saw were:

AEM EMS $2,500+
Turbo Kit $2,000+
Aluminum Radiator $200-400

Then they do a ghetto build with the rest of the car? Even their paint jobs are pretty crappy. I don't think they even cleaned the transfer case before they painted it.

I love the grooves he cut into the cylinder head. That must be to give the head a convenient place to crack, so he knows where to re-weld it.

God that turbo got chewed up. No need to find out why though! just replace it with a more expensive one and it will get us to the 900whp!

I have a newfound respect for DSMs and mistubishi's in general. Apparently you can do THAT to them, and they will still run. Thats saying alot!

The FWDs hold some good power though. I used to race a 91 in the 1/4 before I got my supra. And then I lost interest in the 1320 all together.

its been a hell of a car been reliable before the eclipse i had supercharged mr2 it did a good job of breaking my wallet.
