Hey guys, im putting this build thread in O/T because it doesnt have to do with a Fiero
Lets start with this, I got a 1991 Chevy Camaro, done a swap on it. it was a V6 auto, its now a V8 standard. The interior and underhood is a mess. This thread will let you all keep track of what this car is going to go through in its life, and I will try to keep it updated with videos and pictures.
First one to post is a video!
Thanks for your help in getting it running, the wiring diagrams helped perfectly. The problem was an open circuit before the main fuse, which was not open before. I applied battery power to it, and it suddenly worked like a charm.
To explain the video noises, the pops are what I think are backfires caused by the TPS, could also be detonation (i never heared detonation so I dont know!) in the cylinders. The mixture of gas might be too lean at idle, I think its too rich. the TPS sensor is held on by Gorilla tape at the moment because the bolt heads broke off. I have to try and remove the bolts via vice grips and easy outs. I might just get a whole new throttle body. In the video you see me playing with the TPS and the idle speed radically changing from low, to high, without changing the airflow to the engine. So this leaves me to believe the MAF is blown and I have to get a new one. the check engine light is not on for some reason though!
Here is the video:

YAY for 3rd Gen F-Bombs! Luckily you got one of the last of the 3rd Gens. But before I'd do any mods, you gotta change out the limp spaghetti they used for panhard bars, trailing links and torque arm.

Don't worry about that, its being made into a road racer, so I am swapping all that out for an IRS, probably either a 'Vette IRS, or a custom multilink IRS.

I would personally would leave in the live axle. But to each their own. IMO, you can make a solid rear handle just as or better than an IRS. It's all in the set-up. I'd love to see this when finished as I love the 3rd Gens.
