An animated full length version of The Clone Wars is on Cartoon Network the first week of October, previews look pretty cool.

As a kid, I thought there was nothing cooler than Star Wars, at least until I discovered girls Even as an adult, I enjoyed watching the movies.

But then Episodes I, II and III came along and destroyed my fondness for the galaxy far, far away. Hopefully the Clone Wars will restore some of the lost magic.

I'd like to know if they are ever going to produce a 6 disk box set?? I haven't bought any of the movies as I've been waiting for this and I'm about done waiting and will start buying the 3 disk set or the individual movies. My son is about as crazy about Star Wars as I was when I was his age. Gotta love it.

Family Guy's "Blue Harvest" parody is sweet. Stewie as Vader, Peter as Han Solo, etc. One scene really stands out when I think about it:

I am in the same boat for the most part here. The 3 newest movies, while special effects laden, let me down a lot. ESPECIALLY the casting of that retard Hayden Christiansen as Anakin Skywalker. Sorry, but I just can't see that tool as being the guy in that sweet suit from the first three movies.

Further, not to be a "critic" or anything, but they ruined the ONE GIANT MOMENT that could have saved the recent three movies! I'm referring to the scene where Anakin is finally hooked up in his Vader suit- They could have ended the movie and gone to credits after Vader's mask secured and he took his first breath. THE END, along with Star Wars "goose bumps." But OH NO- we get some rambling, showing the kids being separated, that stupid Vader walking on the bridge of a star destroyer, etc. to ruin it. ALL THAT MATTERED IN EPISODE III was that FIRST BREATH!

IMHO, this is how the movie should have ended- credits immedaitely following this scene:

They did a few bad things. Made Jar Jar such a large character. minimized the slaughter of the Jedis. rushed the important parts, and made some dopey, nonimportant scenes longer then needed. Han Shot first.

Two aweful things about Vader's birth was how goofy he sounded when he first 'woke up' as Vader... Padme...? what...duh..duh...duh? then that "Noooooooo" with his arms up that just seemed REALLY silly for some reason...

And how..HOW could they use a Hard Drive arm inside the helmet? That was BAD. (above the nose)

It was very very obvious in the film...
