All the dates on PFF are now blue!! And if I click on them with my mouse..I get a warning pop-up, which says 'Are you sure you want to ring 09-21-2008? Do not share your etc etc'!!? I THINK it has only happened since I downloaded Messenger Beta...I will try to get a screenshot of it and post it. Anybody else? Nick

I've noticed an odd thing here and there. Last week, there were "+"'s next to each of the thread titles that I could press and it would show the first post in each thread without opening the whole thread. Thought that was kinda convenient, and maybe I just hadn't noticed the grey "+" in the grey of the box before, but when I loaded it back up that evening, it was gone. It was just like another page I had been on recently...

Has anyone noticed threads just disappearing sometimes? I will occasionally look at a thead and then try to find it a couple of days later and it`s not there anymore. I go back for 5 days and still can`t find it.

Seen that happen before, you can have a thread that you just posted in in my recent posts, but it won't appear on the forum. Occasionally you can also reply to a post and it doesn't bump up, or show that anyone posted. Seems to be a temporary thing, as it comes back later.

Yup. My "71% of taxpayers..." thread disappeared. I PM'd Cliff, and he couldn't find it, either. It just disappeared, and he doesn't know why.

Good thing you mention it. Those "+" shouldn't disappear but for some reason sometimes they do and I have to switch them back on again (which I just did).

Yes, a few threads have disappeared into thin air and I have no idea why. I think it's because there's a small corruption in the file system which I'm unable to repair. But those things should be a thing of the past tomorrow since I will install a new server tomorrow.

I forgot to mention that if you know of a thread that has disappeared, please let me know because I do have backups from which I might be able to restore them.
