On the site I made (with much help from PFF members) I have added the phpBB. after much confusing work I was able to get everything working for the most part. I still have several areas I don't have completed.

My question:

How can I change the way this thing looks to make it more closely match the web site? I have watched all of the walkthroughs, and according to what I read in the support forums it is easily possible, so easy in fact there is no need to tell me how to do it.

Right now I have the phpBB looking just like it does out of the box. I see all kinds of Mods and such on the support forums like I said, but I have no idea where to take them from there. The support forum warns that installing Mods is a daunting task.

I really like the way PFF looks and feels, is there any way to get a similar setup through phpBB. I know this is all Cliff here (I read the old threads) and as such is not going to be available in the php database.

You just need to install a theme.
This can be done simply by uploading a theme to the appropriate folder, and then using the administration control panel to make it the primary theme.

It is fairly simple. find a PHPBB theme you like, and put it to good use.

You can do anything you would like with PHPBB by using prebuilt addons or making your own.

Notice how the top image on my forum loads randomly whenever you refresh the page or change to a new section.
