Today, I bought this 2006 BMW 330i Sport 6 Speed. As you can see by the photos it was involved in a front end accident. The car has 47k miles and retains a CLEAN title. I feel I got a great deal on this car I paid before tax $7,500.00. So if anyone wants me to I will post updates on the rebuild of this car. But be aware the process make take a little longer because I am mainly focusing on my Ferrari F355 replica build right now.

1) How did you get it?

2) Can you get me one?

I want to get one of these wrecked cars to rebuild and save some cash on... but all the auction houses require you to be an auto-related business.

Well, I had it towed home last night and spent some time working on it. I also worked on it early this morning before I went to work. I was able to clean up the car and do a complete tear down. Now I know all the damage and as expected there is some more then I was hoping. But all in all it seemed pretty good. I had it towed to a body shop to do the frame work and then it will come home to be put back together and then painted.

Looks like a nice car, did the bags do much damage to the interior when they blew?

My guess is none, the airbag (only one) blew in my friends car, with no real damage to anything but the airbag cover.

should be nice when it is all done.
The only downside is you will need to take it to a BMW shop to get all the modules reset and the adaptations done. bring all the keys with you when you go. The car won't run correctly if you don't get the resetting done. If you need any technical help, pm me. I see these cars everyday.

Well the steering wheel bag deloyed, the passenger side did not. Also the curtain air bags also deloyed, this did not do any real damage but they will need replaced.

Well, I better conclude the thread. I sold the BMW to a local BMW dismantler and made a nice little profit. I could not say no to making money for very little work, so off it went. Too bad though it was a really nice car.
