I have received three dollar bills with a message that says, "See where george has been". It gives the address www.wheresgeorge.com . So far I have entered three bills. Its kind of fun to see where they have been. It tells where it was last entered and the average daily speed and other statistics that are interesting.
One had floated around the Virginias and Wisconsin for a while before I got it. The other two had only been entered by the guy who stamped it. One was thirty days ago, the other had been in the Minneapolis area for 218 days before I got it.
I put my second one in a geocache in Arizona this last week on The Great Western Trail. I think that it has the best chance of being entered next.
Does anyone else occasionally enter one of these dollars or have I just descended into the next layer of geekdom?

I`ve been doing the WheresGeorge thing for at least 6 years now. I even have the same stamp as in the picture above. I`m up to 800 hits on the bills registered ( Over 6900 ). I even have hits from outside the country ( International ) and Hawaii too. Its fun and interesting to do.

I haven't entered any of my own bills, but have received 3 or 4, logged them in, and then passed them along. Two of them have had a couple of hits since I logged them in, but they've only traveled a few miles in a year.
OK, I just checked the wallet and found a george with a stamp. Entered the number and this is what I got:
18-Sep-07 07:27 AM Grapevine, TX Initial Entry 13-Feb-08 07:49 PM North Richland Hills, TX 148 Days, 13 Hrs, 21 Mins Traveled 8.5 miles at an average speed of .06 miles per day.
we got rid of our 1 and the 2 dollars bills years ago. So they made them into one and two dollar coins you can't buy much for them these days anyway. Our 5 dollar note is purple colour The 10 dollar note is blueish in colour the 20 dollar note is orange on colour The 50 dollar note is yellowish in colour the 100 dollar note is green and yellowish in colour None of them are paper they are all plastic and have windows and microscopic print so they can't be copied. paper money doesn't last long enough

#9 What happened to the official Where's George? Rubber stamps? We no longer sell any Where's George? rubber stamps. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. #10 So, where can I get a rubber stamp? We really can't help you there. Sorry. But any local office supply store may make one for you. There are also many online custom stamp makers on the Internet.
Probably some silly politician complaining about the 'defacing' of currency.
An observation; I live between Death Valley CA. & Las Vegas, NV. I have done 'Where's George?" for many years now. It never ceases to amaze me that the ones that make it to 'Vegas, stay in 'Vegas. It's like a black hole for money ~ it gets in but can't get back out...

I've logged in a few when I get them. I haven't seen any in probably a year now. I'll have to check the site out again to see if those that I entered have moved to?
