My father-in-law has an electric bike. Basically has two chains- one "standard bike chain that connects as one would expect, a,d a second one that's smaller and thinner, and connects the rear tire with a motor. It got a flat in the rear, and I changed the tube. Now, when he sits on it, it repeatedly 'ka-clunks' when the electric motor engages. There's a small spring-loaded arm with a wheel at the end that acts as a tensioner.
The thing is, I don't see any way to adjust anything.
I haven't see the "ka-clunk', so I'm not sure what's causing it. I suspect it's that tensioner thingie...
