While cleaning the 87, I ran across an gas reciept from 5/7/99. Gas was $1.199 a gallon. 8.446 gallons for $9.45. Today that gas would be $34.70. 367% more.

I recently bought another CJ7. I found a couple of gas receipts in it from 2001. $1.59 a gallon.

That is very cheap. You guys have had it good for a long time apparently, but starting to catch up now. Cheapest I ever remember fuel here was when I was 17. So that is back in 1982. It was $1.44 a US Gallon.

Recently they projected that in 2023 we will be paying $8.00 a litre for our fuel here. Which is $30.40 a US Gallon. Scary Stuff.

If it goes up to that here god help Europe who are already way in front of all of us.

I just found a good price comparison chart for around the world. Again scary info. Particularly for the Europeans.
