I have a stash of 6 really good Tamya kits stored away somewhere in my ditch and run room. You know the room where you ditch stuff and run. ANyway I have a hankering to build some model cars again. I'm going to do a Fiero to match my car, but first I must practice. Anyone else make model cars?? Any pics??? I'm going to post my Enzo Tamya kit. It turned out really cool. It's at work so pics tomorrow. But if you have some pics share them I would love to see others work.

Back around ten years ago I had over two dozen Formula One Tamiya kits - and I only ever completed two. The only one that survived was a Jordan 191. It's boxed up somewhere completed. All the other kits were destroyed (a LOT of money wasted there at $20-$25 a kit). The only other current Tamiya kit I have completed is a Mitsubishi GTO (3000GT). I'll try to snag a pic of it and the Jordan 191 tomorrow evening if I can find them. I usually give my kits away after I finish them which is strange but it's just been a thing I've done...

I 'could' post some of the anime kits I've been working on, but they're not forum 'safe'...

Here are my kits

Ford Focus Rally car, then a faded Prowler, a Tamiya Enzo kit, and a perfect replica of my Mustang. Soon to add a replica of my Fiero to the group.

Just a few of the survivors. I used to build them professionally for hobby shops and magazines. But I have since lost interest. I always went after the rare and hard to find ones. I've got 2 left to build, both are larger scale, and I I may try to get back into it once work gets under control.

Your base has lights on it! Oh and the model is very nice. Nice work. I just started a Brabham BT50 BMW Turbo, an old F1 car, Tamiya kit of course.

Here's mine as promised. All were pulled from storage and I'm a REALLY terrible modeler, but it's fun just to tinker with them. They seemed to have gotten yellowed and damaged a bit unfortunately. ****WARNING**** - there is a possible NSFW pic at the end of the post!!!!!!!!

Waiting to be built... Probably never...

Tamiya 1/20 Jordan 191 Michael Schumacher 1991 debut. Missing the front suspension cover and I never got around to applying the 'missing' decals. The helmet got messed up from storage and it's missing the visor.

Disassembled

Cockpit

1/24 Michael Schumacher Ferrari F310 1996 with Marlboro conversion. The decals got a bit crusty and fell off when I picked up the car...

1/20 Tamiya McLaren Alain Prost. McLaren mechanics wheeling the car. I never completed this one... the plan was to build a pit diorama and have the mechanics wheel the car out of the garage.

1/24 Tamiya Mitsubishi GTO Japanese spec.

To Heart 2 Ayaka Kurosawa 1/5 scale. Censored for purpose of posting. Only thing I had to finish was I added some filler to the top of the shirt but I never painted over it. It's a recast and the quality really isn't that good but it's huge (and heavy).

There were two other anime ones that I built with another Ayaka Kurosawa and Misato Katsuragi from Evangelion, but the pictures are a bit too dark and I can't really post them here. I also started two others that I never finished.
