Congratulations to you, too, Jim.

OK, I wasn't going to do this, but you two asked for it. Where did you find these pathetic women, or, where were you two when these women found you? Did they shop at "Loser husbands R US"? Blackrams, shouldn't that be " her lack of taste in men"?

Now, my wife exercised superb taste and discernment in choosing a husband.

There is no doubt in my mind your wife knew exactly what she was looking for. She is obviously a very compassionate, intelligent, loving and giving person who knew what and how she could give back to society. She has done well but, her task is not completed.

Congratulations blackrams to you and your lovely wife!!

Sigh... will be 32 years for Max and I in December... guess you could say we're celebrating by taking a 2 week cruise in January... but we're taking the kids with us!! (they are paying their own way.. thank goodness... laugh)

Hope you do something special for your anniversary... or at least memorable!!

I'm a little slow, but I think I get this. You are saying she took me on as a PROJECT? Well, yes, now I eat with the correct fork and wear shoes and don't grab her, uh, ears in public, but a project?

Historic day. IIRC, also the anniversary of Bobby Kennedy's death and the invasion of Europe by the allies (D-Day).

Old saying, men marry thinking their women will never change, women marry thinking they can change their men, both are usually disappointed.

Men are ALWAYS projects for their women. We are discussed at length at their hen parties in more graphic detail than you would ever imagine. I figger, if they're going to talk about me, might as well make it entertaining for them, so I'm still grabbing my wife's, uh, ears in public, and any other chance I get. Nothing says we should be an EASY project.

Exactly! I still grab my wifes "hoo has" whenever and where ever. They are going to be mad at you about something all of the time and talk about you all the time. So I might as well get some tit if she is going to be mad anyway. I tell her if she didn't scream at me or swat me, no one would know anyway's. The real secret is that they love the attention. If I was to stop grabbing her, she would ask why I am not attracted to her anymore. So married men of the world unite, and grab your wife's "hoo has" all the time. (you know she going to yell at you about something anyways)

You my friend are a lucky man. My wife started getting a little frustrated with my hobby when # 5 showed up, I won't even tell you the reaction when # 10 got here.

Rregardless, she's stuck with me cause I ain't going nowhere.

Thanks to all those replys.

You have inspired me to go and grab my wife's "hoo has" multiple times on a daily basis now. Thank god I have two hands, cause I need them both just for one.

When "we" got back into Fieros in 2001 (88GT), it was she that said we needed two more Fieros! Who was I to argue? Refer to Rule #2 of the Women thread. One 88 Formula and the "Stinger" later, the current collection is now at three with a possible fourth on the way.

Sounds like we need to see pics in the "Girls with Fieros" thread. Unless of course you have really small hands.

Thanks, it isn't always easy being the "significant other" in my life, she deserves all the credit.

Women marry men thinking they'll mold them to what they want, men marry women hoping nothing will never change. Some how, we've manged to stay happy with each other even though, neither one of us got what we thought we were getting.

Funny how that works, huh?

All true-every bit of it. My biggest problem is that I have yet to stop fighting the enevitable. She 'molds' ---I break it. A never ending struggle.
I joke and tell her she married me for money--(boy has she been disappointed!!!!)

Congrats Ron--that's a long time, and believe me when I say I know it took a lot of work on the part of both of you.

Congrats, Ron. You have 11 years and, it would seem, 14 days on us. But I daresay that's the luck of the draw. Somehow, I think that you, as I, know how lucky we are. So the very best to you on a special day.

Thanks Don, I'm sure it was more work for her in the beginning and for the first twenty years or so, but now, I'm paying for all those things.

Thanks,
Hang in there, you'll get there, no one ever said it was easy. I think she would have traded me in for another model but, according to her, it was tough enough training me, she doesn't have the energy to train another.

So is this the forum's first anniversary thread? Today is 22 for us. I was kinda' entertaining the idea of waiting until 1989 then the date would be 6,7,8,9 and then maybe I would remember it

I sometimes read on here about the relationship problems some members have...All I can say is you have to be realistic in your expectations, the right one makes it all good

Dar,
Enough said.

Oh, you meant a gift, well kind of. She's getting new flooring in two rooms of the house. I know, I know. But, that's what she wanted. Hell, the house is only 11 months old, do you think the old carpet and tile were worn out?

Congrats right back at ya.

Ron

Hammer,
Congrats right back at ya!

You are so very right, it's got to be a good match, doesn't have to be a perfect one. But, it does take work and dedication. Anyone that thinks marital bliss comes easily and the honeymoon will last forever is just asking for problems. Two people have to be serious about their priorities, taking responsibility and raising any children. Rearing and child is the most rewarding and responsible thing any couple can take on. That is also a huge amount of work. Mine are grown, we had two, we only had two because we didn't want three. But, they are both wonderful young adults that we are both very proud of.
